Where is This Man?
Is there not a man within this Earth,
That can satiate or quench my thirst?
Is there not a man within the skies,
That could serve to live without the lies?
What is this price that we must pay,
To live to see this very day?
A day of pleasantry, a day of joy,
A day this man grew from a boy.
What is this world, it's to become
My senses wane, my mind is numb.
This story of a manly lad,
The kind that makes a woman glad.
Where is this gallant man of males?
The kind of man that never fails.
A man of beauty, a man of truth,
A man not arrogant in his youth.
For he's the one of all desire,
He'll be the one to ignite the fire.
How do I find this man I seek?
One who's bold, unlike the meek.
Is this a possible task ahead?
To find this man that is not dead.
Or am I wasting all my time?
Could my wishing, be named a crime?
Is it so much that I might ask,
For one to fill this simple task?
Has not one man the intelligence,
To be a man of common sense?
To just be loyal, to just be kind,
To posess the spirit of peace of mind.
Where is the man that can do all this?
His lips so tender, as to form a kiss.
Equipped with a smile, that can erase all past,
The kind of smile that will always last.
With gentle eyes that could melt a heart;
The kind of eyes that one calls smart.
His voice filled with serenity,
And thus we breach the golden key,
I want the man, that will love me, for me!
