Why does life prove so tiringly difficult? I just absolutely abhor my family about ninety percent of the time. Is there not one person who can understand anything about me? Not a soul, but the one everyone else loathes... Only one to whom truly cares...
Well, a new year, but I have eight more months of this place, and then I am gone. Gone forever, hopefully. First, I fly to Phoenix on August 18 to go back to MEPS, and then from there to Fort Jackson, South Carolina the next day. My Basic Training begins the day after my 18th birthday, August 25. After eight weeks of that, I go to Fort Gordon, Georgia for nine weeks of AIT. Then I am free for some time. Only serving my one weekend a month, and fifteen days of annual trining in the summer as an Army Guardsman. Free twelve years of college, after my first few years I will get my Rn and transfer as an officer. Then on to my M.D. Finally I will be out of this horrid city...
